UPDATE: Acting NCCo Police Chief Named
UPDATED STORY 11.28.12: A replacement has been named for New Castle County Police Chief and Public Safety Director Scott McLaren who resigned last week.
McLaren left the department in 2009 after 21 years, but returned last year to take the new positions.
Newly elected New Castle County Executive Tom Gordon has selected 23-year veteran of the department, Captain Elmer Setting as the new acting chief of police.
