Police agencies in Worcester County have stepped up their holiday DUI enforcement efforts.
The Maryland State Police’s Berlin Barracks, Ocean City, Ocean Pines and Pocomoke City Police Departments, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, and the Maryland Natural Resources Police all conducted DUI saturation patrols Wednesday. During the patrols, 68 drivers were stopped. Four people were arrested for DUI. 31 citations and 53 warnings were issued.
Fortunately, there weren’t any alcohol-related crashes.
