After some staff members, including GM Chris Bitters, helped out with Mountaire’s “Thanksgiving for Thousands” packing day Monday, the Delmarva Shorebirds have donated $3,000 to “Thanksgiving for Thousands.”

Bitters and Mountaire Community Relations Director Roger Marino touted their relationship as they work to feed the thousands on Delmarva who otherwise wouldn’t be able to have a satisfying Thanksgiving meal.

The donation was made through the Shorebirds Community Foundation, and will help offset the cost for “Thanksgiving for Thousands.”
