Ocean City Officials Name New Planning & Community Development Director
Ocean City officials have named a new Planning and Community Development Director. Jesse Houston retired in September after 30 years working for Ocean City. City officials, after a national search for Houston’s successor, welcome Matthew Margotta to the position. Margotta, like new city manager, David Recor, comes from Fort Pierce, Florida, where he’s been the planning director since 2006. Margotta will officially begin his new position on January 7th.
