Gov. Markell Welcomes Moroccan Ambassador
Governor Jack Markell, Senator Chris Coons and other Delaware officials today welcomed Ambassador Mohamed Rachad Bouhlal of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Port of Wilmington.
The group welcomed the arrival of a shipment of clementines and celebrated the increasingly strong economic partnership between Morocco and the U.S.
The Port of Wilmington is the exclusive port of entry for clementines which brings in $5.6 million in annual revenue and is responsible for approximately 100 jobs.
