DNREC Seasons are Changing
DNREC Enforcement Agents responded to 54 complaints between November 7 and 14 and they urge hunters to be familiar with season dates, rules and limits before you head out. 12 people were cited for a variety of hunting violations – including unlawfully taken game, spotlighting and failure to register an antlered deer. Shotgun deer season is now over – however archery deer season is open through January 31, 2013. Monday is the start of hunting season for ducks, geese, squirrel, pheasant, quail and rabbit. You can find out more in the 2012-2013 Delaware Hunting & Trapping Guide – available at license dealers and HERE
