For the third straight year, Delaware State University has broken its enrollment record.
4,425 students enrolled at Del State for this fall, breaking last fall’s record of 4,178. 1,041 freshmen and a record 470 graduate students were among the students who enrolled. University President Dr. Harry Williams says the quality of the students, as indicated by their SAT scores and high school GPAs, are also higher than ever.
This year, Del State moved from 15th up to 13th in U.S. News and World Report’s annual ranking of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
