2 YO Delmar Boy Killed in Single Car Crash
Alcohol is being blamed for a single car crash in Delmar Tuesday afternoon that claimed the life of a 2-year-old Delmar boy.
Delaware State Police say the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. as 46-year-old Danielle Bobak of Georgetown was eastbound on Whitesville Road just west of Whaley’s Road; police say Bobak failed to negotiate a curve in the road, ran off the road and struck a tree before the Subaru Legacy rolled onto it’s side.
Bobak’s nephew, Lleyton Slate was partially ejected from the car due to his car seat NOT being properly secured; the toddler was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Bobak was taken to PRMC in Salisbury where’s she’s listed in serious condition.
