Clayton Pedestrian Killed in Freak Accident
Delaware State Police say a pedestrian was killed in Clayton Tuesday night in a freak accident.
Police say 37-year-old Kevin Isadorski of Clayton was driving a Freightliner tractor trailer in a private driveway off Daisey Road just before 7 p.m., when 52-year-old Jerry Stanton, also of Clayton, who was walking next to the trailer portion of the truck, stumbled and fell to the ground underneath the trailer.
Police say Isadorski was not aware that Stanton had fallen and continued driving, striking him with the rear tires.
Police say NO charges will be filed.
