Milton Motorcyclist Killed in Lewes Crash
Delaware State Police are this morning investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Sweetbriar Road west of Lewes Monday night.
Police say the crash occurred just after 10 p.m. as 30-year-old Mark Lillquist of Milton failed to negotiate a slight curve in the road and lost control of his Yamaha YZF600R motorcycle; police say Lillquist crossed into the northbound lane before exiting the east side of the road and striking a tree.
Lillquist was NOT wearing a helmet; he was pronounced dead at Beebe Hospital.
