Gold Alert Still on for Missing UD Professor, Reward Offered
UPDATED STORY 10.15.12 – A Gold Alert remains in effect for retired UD professor John Dohms, who has been missing since September 13. Dohms suffers from dementia and was last seen walking northbound on Creek Road into White Clay Creek State Park around 3pm that day. Newark Police urge residents to check their outbuildings, sheds, cars, under decks and other places of shelter. The University of Delaware is offering a $10,000 reward for locating Dohms. Police have released a time progressed photo of Dohms.
The University of Delaware is now offering a $10,000 reward for information in locating a retired professor who has been missing for more than three weeks.
John Dohms was reported missing September 13; he suffers from dementia and was last seen walking into White Clay Creek State Park.
Newark Police say they do NOT suspect foul play in Dohms’ disappearance.
