UPDATED OCTOBER 14, 2012 BY ANDREW KOCH: The man held responsible in the death of the owner of the 707 Sports Bar & Grille in West Ocean City will spend the next year in jail.
27-year-old Cyle Walker of West Ocean City was sentenced Friday in Worcester County Circuit Court. He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in July. Last October, Walker and bar owner Carey Flynn got into a fight outside the establishment after Flynn found Walker urinating outside. During the fight, both men fell to the ground. Flynn later died suddenly at an area hospital.
An autopsy by the Maryland Medical Examiner ruled that Flynn died from internal bleeding after suffering a tear in scar tissue.

The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore is today trying to determine what killed the owner of an Ocean City Sports Bar.
The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation says 63-year-old Carey Flynn was taken to Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin around 2 a.m. Thursday morning where he was pronounced dead; Flynn owned the 707 Sports Bar & Grill in West Ocean City.
Sources tell WGMD News that Flynn ejected three patrons from his bar and when he closed up for the night, the three men jumped him outside. Sources say Flynn suffered a fatal heart attack.
All of this is still unconfirmed as we wait for a report from the ME.
